Our Story
My name is Allister Young and I am a proud Yawuru/Yamatji man, raised on Arrernte country.
My journey and passion began at a young age when I would help Papa carve pearl shell’s into jewellery and spent many hours fossicking for gemstones and minerals around Australia.
My skills, passion and inspiration comes from my cultural heritage, the craftsman I have partnered with and the continuous use of my Dads collection of gemstones.

Gallery
Take a peak at some of my favourite pieces I have created. The gallery consists of a combination of pieces by Forever Young Jewellery as well as whilst I was employed at different Jewellers.
Growing up and looking for "rocks"
Dad’s idea of fun was spending days on end out bush fossicking for gemstones. Mum, my brother and I had a different opinion on that. Still dad insisted on taking us on a family trip to a popular fossicking field, most of the time in the middle of nowhere. As kids my brother and I didn’t really have a choice, but Mum often wouldn’t come saying, “I’ve done enough fossicking”.
